Dust in my tank

i have oolite sand in my Nuevo 20 and it is dusty as all heck. It has been in for about a month now how would you recommend cleaning it out

do you have any livestock in the tank? you could slowly siphon it out when you do water changes. if you dont have any livestock i would remove it and put it in a bucket and clean it
