Dust in my tank?

My tank is a rimless XL425 it’s 17 days old. I’m concerned that the dust in my house has fallen in my tank. Test good but it looks like snow storm. Did a 25% water change 4 days ago has filter socks no skimmer running at this time No livestock any idea thanks

I wouldn't worry about it.

In cases like this, either micro bubbles or too much flow in sump or tank. A filter sock would help greatly in reducing this

Normal tank stuff. Use a filter sock to remove it.
As long as it's leaving the tank through the overflow teeth and being caught by the sock you're good to go
