DvSReef, super custom rimless DeepBlue 80

Hey guys. I'm in the process of setting up my 80 rimless by DeepBlue.

I purposely purchased the tank without any plumbing or an overflow, with the intentions of building a custom coast to coast (almost) weir and an external Beananimal overflow.

The tank is lit by 2 diy led fixtures from Rapid LED's. I use a legacy model Neptune Apex to control the tank, and the top off. The sump is topped off via a float VALVE, fed from the ATO. The ATO tank is filled with RO/DI by a solenoid valve, controlled via the Apex. Future plans will be to add a DIY kalk reactor in line on the top off.

Let's see.... What else...
I use Reef Octopus return pump and skimmer, loving their products. I have 2 BRS dosing pumps, one will dose vodka, the other magnesium.

The tank is still in the infancy stages, but I feel it's coming along very nicely. I will keep this post updated as much as possible.

I love the system. I might have either painted or covered the glass overflow with black acrylic so it blends in with the back. You may have done that, but I can't tell for sure from the pics.

Thanks for the compliments. Yes, I did eventually get a piece of black acrylic to cover the overflow. If you look at one of the earlier pics, you can see that the front piece of the overflow extends slightly past the actual box. I actually cut a price of acrylic to match the front piece, and wrapped some black zip ties around the ends, to hold it in place. Worked like a charm!
