I have had a number if dwarf Angel's over many years. One of my favourite is the Centropygi Acanthrops, the African fireball angle.
I currently have a trio of these beauties 2 females and a male. Not many people keep dwarf angel's from the same species in numbers they are mainly singular, some in pairs but few in 2 or more numbers.

@atoll kewl video. :)

I watched a couple more that came up on the feed. Thought this one was kewl because this was what I saw when I was diving in the PI. I think this is more representitive of where the creatures that we are getting vs. the ultra acro dominated Barrier reef pics.

It is funny because this looks more like what long term hobbyist see in their tanks.

I have a trio of flamebacks - They are fairly new. My previous trio was spawning nightly - although I couldn't tell if all 3 were spawning of just two.

I have kept a trio of Venustus and had them spawning.

I have kept a pair of Goldflakes and had them spawning.

I have kept a pair of Joculators and had them spawning.

I had a trio of Goldens and had them spawning.

I have kept a trio of Bellus and had them spawning.

I have tried a harem (5) of Flame Angels on 3 seperate occassions - Each time the harem settled in the Flames became extremely coral carnivorous. When kept as singles I seldom have issues with flame angels.

Prior to a crash earlier this year I had the Goldflakes, Bellus, Flamebacks, Joculators, and when they spawned the majority of the time all 4 groups would spawn within moments of each other in the same area of the tank. The Golden Angels were much more infrequent in their spawning behavior.

The venustus exhibited spawning behavior but I have never seen a release of eggs or sperm.

Just about all the dwarf and pygmy angels will spawn in the aquarium given the right care and in suitably matched pairs or groups. The first angels that spawned for me were C.argi that was around 35 years ago.

I am looking at keeping a trio of coral beauties to my 120 mixed reef. I have read a bunch, but this seems to be a thread with folks that have actual experience.

How has long term success been with dwarf angel trios?

Do you feel the trio is more or less aggressive/territorial than a single dwarf?

Have you been able to add other fish once your trio was established?

I actually have 4 falmebacks now.
Most have been in the tank over 2 years nearer 3
No problem with them and other fish or any problem introducing other fish.
Can't speak for multiple coral beauties

this thread is so coincidental, i just came back from diving and want to probably keep a harem of some kind of fish (either wrasse or dwarf angel)
i mainly saw halfblacks and coral beauties when diving and the halfbacks seem to live in pairs and coral beauties singularly or occasionally in pairs.
in previous trips, coral beauties were in trios and bicolours were in trios
