So it appeared over night. Have seen no signs on sickness, I think it could be bacterial due to a potters angel nipping and harassing before transferring the potters angel. It’s a white patch where it looks as if the skin is falling off or peeling and these are the best pics I could get while it was moving.

If it eating, use high quality frozen foods and observe.

If it gets worse, have a QT set up and treat for bacteria infection.

It’s eating and swimming around I was just looking for more of a confirmation type thing. My thought process was like if we get cut as humans we scab over but if we are in water the scab gets soft and it’s just white everywhere. I think that’s kinda what is happening it’s just trying to scar over or close possible from the potters angel nipping at it. I’ve been feeding some reef frenzy frozen!

As with any injury, the possibility of infection is very high. Healthy fish can and do recover if not stressed and are eating a good quality food. LRS is a good choice. But be prepared to treat if the fish can't over come the injury and infection that can set in.

Guessing it could be an injury possibly with an infection. I’d observe for now feed nutritious foods soaked in vitamins such as zoecon, selcon, and vita chem.

Thanks for the advice!

Well.. I came home today unable to find the dwarf angel.. found my snails and shrimp all huddle together on one rock in a crack so I can only assume the worst.. really getting discouraged.
