Hello,

Would like to set-up a my Nuvo 40 tank for a couple Dwarfs but what do these fish go after, LPS and Softies? Thank you!

They might go after each other first in a nuvo40
Dwarf Angels are as most of the genus dwarf angels tied on territory.
I have a 200 gallon an my flame and interuptus are constant after each.

I had a flameback in a 40 breeder. It picked at both sps and lps (only softy in the tank was gsp) but only actually ate a lord acan; however, the many corals it picked at lived in a state of constant stress. It was a very busy, bossy fish and a 40 gallon tank was too small for it.

Agree with Diesel. I have an African Flameback. Doesn't touch LPS or polyps. I think the only thing it does is occasionally mouth my sps tips but I think it's more about the slime then about eating it and it has no effect on PE from the acros

Dwarfs will do what they like. I've had to get rid of a Potters Angel and a Flame Angel because they started going after SPS/Zoas. I now have another Flame Angel which I've been lucky with for the last 9 months or so.

40 gallons seems a bit small for two dwarfs though. I can picture a lot of fighting between the two

Your 40 can probably only house one and I would say your best bet as mentioned is a flameback although never a guarantee with centropyge.

I have a cherub. It's pretty cool. Not a coral eater.
Pretty peaceful

But his name is Napoleon.

If I decided to get one Dwarf-its a gamble.

There's only one way to find out- off to LFS tomorrow :)

I have a Cherub in my 60g cube. Lots of zoas/Palys, hammer, shrooms, Duncan and others...so far no nipping that I have seen (over a year so far)..,

I'm not sure why my pic is showing up like that.

Right now a talbot a gramma a mandarin a fire fish two ruby dragons and a cherub

I have had the following results with dwarf angels over the past 10 years in the hobby:

4 Potters angels - never any noticeable nipping or coral damage
2 Lemonpeels - both nipped LPS and Softies
5 multibars - 1 nipped SPS horribly, others were model citizens
Multicolor angel - model citizen (SPS system)
Dwarf Golden Angel - model citizen (mixed Reef)
