So I really like the coral beauty dwarf angel but I am doing to do a mixed lps, softy tank i am also getting black missbar clowns , a golden dwarf moray, and a six line wrasse

What types of dwarf angels tend to not go after corals more
(I know this is just a very general non100% chance thing)

Thanks

I have had luck with Flame Angels and a Coral Beauty. Everybody has a different experience. My advice is to keep them well fed

I had luck with 2 flame angels, also a coral beauty that did nip a bit, we have a pair of flame back angels in our big reef at work that don't touch anything. So basically it will be a hit or miss and you'll have to monitor closely after introducing it. They will behave differently in everyone's systems.

no luck with my lemon peel angel so had to get rid of him, but my potters has been an angel.. (pun intended i think?..)

Ok so coral beauty's ok they would have the coolest colors with the corals I'm getting it it didn't work out I can return them to the store I got them from with or sell them

I'm hoping to get the tank setup with
Duncan's
Blue Hornets
God of war paly
Peach passion Zoa
Utter chaos zoa
Blastommusa
Torch
Plate
Toadstool
Xenia
acans

Then the moray two missbar clowns and the six line

I feel all animals, just like people behave differently. I had a coral beauty that pretty much ate everything except my fish food. Really depends if you simply pick the right one. For example my yellow tang loves gha but not every yellow tang will eat it.

Depends if you're willing to take a risk or not.

My blue hippo tang loves throwing this one particular rock in my tank... It's constantly doing it

I've had good luck with my coral beauty so far, over a year. Potters are supposed to be very safe as well, that's the next one I will have given a chance or another tank.

Murcia that last thing sounds like cheap entertainment

What if it do some of the clip on seaweed

Believe it or not it wants nothing to do with it... He's a curious creature ha. I feed him nls thera a and kelp flakes but that's all he'll eat. Every once in a while he'll take a mysis or two

I had mostly good luck w my atlantic pygmy angel. He was only a problem when i spot fed marine snow on the zoas, then he would try to steal the white cloud of phyto from the corals lol

I had a cb for over a year without nipping anything, then one day whilst nipping live rock he kept moving to the coral, nipped the Acan....paused for a moment then went in to attack mode. He also started aggressively nipping my purple sea fan...at which point he was removed. I love angelfish but I won't ever put one in a reef tank again

I have 2 dwarf angels in my reef for years now and they do not bother any corals. I have a flame angel and potter's angel.

The only angel that I've had that really bothered coral was a Lemonpeel. I now have Coral Beauty, Cherub, Half Black, and Bi-Color; they don't hurt any of the coral. I have SPS and a very few LPS but no softies.

I'm planning softy dominated (because of zoas) mixed reef this is also my first saltwater tank
