Dwarf seahorse preparation

Hello I am preparing to get more dwarf seahorses but want to do some cleaning of my tnak first. I have had hydroids for a long time and want to rid of them before I add dwarf seahorses again. Is there anything I can do to eliminate them completely.
Currently I have a sexy shrimp and 5 blue hermit crabs.

I look to buy some margarita snails and cerith.

Any other thoughts on CUC

Trochus snails for the glass, spiny astrea and ring cowries for any rocks.
