I've been reading about the process of vendors dying anemones and I believe my lfs sold me a carpet that was died. When I bought it, it was a fluorescent green. The brightest I've seen. After about 3 months it is steadily losing the green. I know it's not my lights because a foot over I have a carpet I bought bleached and nursed back to a deep dark green. I'm running 400 watt halide over a 60
Cube. I feed every 3 days. The carpet is extremely sticky and gladly takes food. I will increase the feedings and watch it carefully.

I would be a bit shocked it they would dye one green --- red and blue would be the colors I would expect, given the price of those.

Fluorescent anemones are (( usually )) ones that are starting to bleach, so it could just be that it is recovering. Think of the fluorescent pink E. quadricolors that regain their color and are no longer fluorescent.

I agree... If it lack Zooxanthellae which are brown it can look very fluorescent and maybe this is what you are seeing... Carpet are rarely died, it is usually sebaes that come in dyed...
