DYI Plumbing!

Hey! How is everyone doing? Eienna and I need a little help! I have talked to a few people today about plumbing and what not. Eienna and i are still Way confused. Whats the difference between ABS or PVC Bulkheads? If anyone can shoot me a PM Her and i Would really really appreciate it. Were both more visual then verbal type of learners.

What is PVC ? - PVC
In a nut shell you can use either one. ABS is genreally used in sewer type applications or building sinks. You don't need to run that stuff on a tank, if thats what your getting at.

Standard bulkheads are made with ABS, but will mate up with PVC no problem. True PVC bulkheads are sch 80 and cost a bit more, and take up a little more room. Either way, you will be fine, J

Hey JPG@CFI So i went to home depot and Lowes yesterday three times trying to figure out why the bulkheads i were getting would not fit. There were PVC and they were the precise size i needed. So i went through all the sizes. (1, 3/4, 1/2) Then i woke up this morning and checked out what you put and i said CRAP thats why. There Thicker.. LMBO.
