My centerpiece acan looks like it has 2 dying heads. The mouths are still alive and respond to feeding, but the edges look like they are dying. I did change the water flow a bit, but I don't think this is from that. If I had to guess, my dottyback took up residence under it (I have it on a small PVC pipe) and tipped it over. I probably put my fingers right on it and damaged the tissue. I saw a hermit crab picking at it, but I don't think that's the cause, rather than he is scavenging the dead tissue.

So, should I keep feeding that spot to try to regenerate? I'm not going to cut it off because I think that would cause more trauma.

I would keep a close eye on it. Feed the coral as usual but keep an eye for more die off, an iodine dip might be in order.
