nem hasn’t looked happy in last couple days,

first time i’m seeing him detached partially like this, and his mouth looks weird.

thoughts? :(

Tank parameters and age?

3 months, yes i know i shouldn’t have gotten a nem so soon, thats a mistake on my part.

nitrates 7ppt
nitrite ammonia 0
salinity 1.026
ph 8.2
temp 76-77
Alkalinity? I'd say tank age is your major issue though. I was also in your same situation before. Tried early, failed, tried at 6 months, failed. Tried again at a year and they flourished.

If you have any way to treat the nem with antibiotics you could give that a shot but might be too late

Gotcha, it is what it is… another example of how patience is key in this hobby ‍♀️,

Learned my lesson, thanks for response

agree with tank being too young to reliably support it. personally, i'd be offering it up free to someone else with a suitable tank to preserve its life and use the experience as a lesson to be more patient.
