I can't seem to keep anemones at all. I'm not sure why either, any idea? When I got both and brought them home from my LFS they were bubbled up and pretty but now they're not so I'm not really sure what I need to do or what I am doing wrong.. any ideas?

I would be inclined to think lighting, lighting type?
Have you double checked all the water chemistry?

I have a 180G display with a 40G sump. I run 3 Hydra 26 HDs on the tank. I haven't tried feeding the anemones yet though. I have a coral beauty, yellow tang, a pair of pj cardinals, and a pair of lightning maroon clowns. A bunch of zoas, frogspawn, LPS and SPS. And I have my clean up crew and a Harlequin

Neither appear to be dying. My money is on a sudden increase in PAR/PUR has sent them running for lower intensity. If they detach try to place it lower in the tank and in a rock crevice where it can hide its foot. Keep an eye on the maroons as they can be rough on their host As far as bubble vs no bubbles, there is no rhyme or reason why they come and go.

I also just increased my lighting a little bit and they seem to be not as stringy? They're not bubbled but not as stringy as they were

I'd lower light intensity and then slowly raise it. Bubbled tips are not an indication of health and it's a crap shoot whether the nem will have them. There is no known reason why they are bubbled or stringy. There are many of theories but they are just that.
