Im going nuts I keep losing fish my last try at keeping my fish alive for more than a week has failed all thats left in my fox face. Two clowns died this morning when i got up they where being pushed around the tank by the power head and by the time i got home from work they where dead. last time the fish died i think it was the blue velvet that killed them 2 more clows and a lawn mower blenny.

So, you are going to need to post pictures, give full details on the tank, tank parameters, your maintenance schedule ie water changes etc, what coral if any, what additives you have used. Basically a full rundown of everything if anyone is going to be able to help you

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

Sorry to hear all that. Here is a post that explains how to create a fish disease problem report for our fish medics to weigh in on:

Are they swimming in to power heads? They often do this when they have velvet because it pushes oxygen through their gills. But yes more information will be needed to help you here.

thanks for getting back to me so quick. I have a 40 gallon breeder. Its been running since the end of January this year. Its my first tank so I am very new to the hobby. I love it so far. Besides the bunch of fish deaths. The first time around i had 2 clowns for about a month doing great I get a powder blue tang and a blue velvet within 3 weeks it seems that all the fish besides the blue velvet have ick they all die except the damsel. i wait a while than put two more clowns a lawn mower blenny and a fox face in the tank this time they all died one by one besides the fox face and the damsel I figured the damsel killed them. I get rid of the damsel now all that's in there is the foxface so I go get two more clowns 4 days of being in the tank they are dead the fox face is still alive didn't eat today the clowns died this morning when i got up they where swimming very erratically eventually they died they where breathing very fast i dont know what possibly could have killed them my salinity is 1.021 alk is 8.3 ph 8.2 phos 0 nitrate 0 using hanna checkers ammonia is under .05 using cheap test kit hard to tell exactly the only thing I did different before they dies this morning was feed them misis frozen right out the freezer not thawed out and i dosed the tank last night to bring up the alk I do have a Favia first coral want to make a full mixed reef tank eventually there is a crazy hair algae outbreak being going on for some time now also driving me nuts thanks again I will try to attach pictures by tommorow

In the event this is a disease/disease related, do not add any more fish until this gets sorted out.
and. . . testing the water with cheap kits is not worth losses, and how long were fish acclimated to tank? Consider quarantine moving forward and raise salinity to 1.024 and Do allow food to thaw, even if you have to place in fridge the night before

The fox face looks like he’s twitching my bad for the noise my girl is watching a crazy movie lol
The foxface is too far back in the cave to see clearly, but it seems to be breathing fast and shaking its head. Those are clear signs of an external parasitic infection. You won’t be able to treat that in a tank with coral or other invertebrates though. Once fish loss has begun due to parasites, it is often difficult to control this fast enough to stop additional losses.

The basic quarantine process is here:

Okay there is obviously something else going on but I will point out that the tangs and foxface in a 40b is not helping, tank is way too small for any of those fish
