Hey,

this guy is new he’s been in the tank for maybe 12 hours now, he does not look well, super skinny hardly any colour and he can hardly swim? Any ideas what I can do?

That was with the flow off only the return pump, I’ll get a qt set up using an old tank

Hmm strange, the tang and dwarf angel love it, he hasn’t touched the seaweed, he’s hardly moved just kept lying on the sand bed

Doesn't sound promising. Hopefully you can move him into a low flow QT and get him healthy enough for your reef.

Currently have him in my sump in a breeder box with a clip of seaweed, seems a little more promising than when he was just in the sump on his own.

The flow was too much because he's weak.

If he doesn't touch the mysis, try a couple drops of garlic in the water or food. If doing it in food, make it spiralina brine shrimpe, with some selcon in it. Or spiralina alone. Might be time to experiment and see what entices him. He's probably sick and needs QT...

Hes VERY weak and emaciated. He needs minimal flow and privacy so he can get enough energy to eat.
