I had like 6 in my 30 gallon, all died but one, they didn't have any shells idk if thats why. It's not the food, I have algea, alot of algea, not like to the point everything is green but def enough for food. My cleaner shrimp died aswell. 2 weeks ago I bought a Halloween hermit he's been doing fine so far, my emerald crab has lived he's doing well or was till I had to take him back due to his habit of trying to eat my fish. All my fish are perfectly fine. Da **** is going on? This is depressing, because I love hermit crabs I had the land ones as a kid and I hate to see them die. I have an obsession with crustaceans, so this is very important to me
Amonia 0

Nitrate 10
Phosphate.25
Dkh 10
Calcium 420 ppm ph 8.
Salt 1.023

I would suggest bring up your salinity to 1.o25.
Your alk is high. 8.5 would be a good place to be. Your should be around .03 to .04
What is your PH and Temp?
I have had to replenish my clean up crew and this is the norm. It is finding the right balance to clean but not to starve the crew. Yes some just do not make it;)

I know my salt is too low I've been trying to get it to rise through water changes, but it just wants to stay there. -.- I know my alkalinity is high, I've been trying to get rid of that to. Ph is 8.1 I meant to put. Ain't a food problem, theres algea, alot, I got them to take care of that or atleeast help it but they just want to die lol. Thank you for the reply, if you have any suggestions to help my salinity and alk I would really appreciate it.
