This snail has been very inactive compared to my other snail this week. Last night I noticed a few bristle worms and brittle stars crawling around him,so I assumed he was dead and when I picked him out of the tank it seemed like it. Eventually I poked it and it moved, so I put it in this makeshift qt. It still hasn't moved but I tested the water in the qt and ammonia was still 0 so he hasn't died yet. Any ideas? The stuff sitting in the cup is fish food by the way.

Sorry, probably just the circle of life catching up with him :( Probably nothing you can do for the poor guy especially if scavengers have already started picking on him
Yes, but he's not old I just got him last week. I'm more concerned about some kind of disease that could spread to my other snail.

Had a cerith snail that stopped moving for a couple days, figured it was dead or dying. Was confirmed when I saw hermit crabs, bumblee snails and nassarius snails feasting on the ceriths. Sometimes they do enter a stasis mode and bury themselves for days but not this time. CUC need to be replenished every now and then. I'm a big fan of reefcleaners
