Agreed but probably will not get it until I start with corals, I am only really worried about nitrate at the moment and also my Trochus moved rocks and know he is with the other Trochus who also moved a bit, now I think they a sleeping with (Next, not in) the bubble tip anemoneIt's all good as long as you get your own tests. Yeah, my blue licktia is at the top but he was always at the top at the LFS and yeah my snails where below the water line a little but everything else seems fine, and now I am worried because I do not have any mixing salt because I get it from the LFS bit I was gonna get an RO unit and some salt when I got coralsI had an issues with ammonia and i notice my snails and my starfish went to the top. So do a water change if you havent already.
Im new still to this so hope for the best mate
I would pick up atleast ammonia, ph and a nitrate kit. Salifert usually has them for 20 each. Those 3 can be an issue for living inhabitant ( coral is another story ) so keep an eye for time like this and get those in case.
? I am confusedI see glad its looking up boss

Me too? I am confused
2 Hour Report:Me too
How old is the tank.2 Hour Report:
This sounds like the news, anyway one Trochus snail seems fine on the rocks and is moving as I see him and he is eating some diatoms and the one that looked bad has only moved a little but it looks like he has eaten diatoms and he could have been sleeping
4 monthsHow old is the tank.
Well, the Trochus that looked good is still on the rocks moving but I cannot find the other one, he isn't out of the tank, and I last saw him on the rocks, would he go into the brittle stars cave, I cannot really see because the diatoms are blocking the glass that sees the caves entrance and it looks like the anemone ate or something, usually he has a tube for a mouth, similar to a nassarius but his is.pink and it looks like it is trying to keep shut but now it looks like an inflated mouth, which I have seen before but earlier it looks like a thing that chomps, I cannot explain it but there are no shells.I'd get your temp up around 76-78 degrees and stable.
Seems like there's some general husbandry things going on that you need to nail down before adding more things or thinking about corals/anemones, etc.
