Hello folks,

My tank has gone through some hell in the last few months. First I left for 10 days and my in-law was in charge to feed the fish, came back to a rain forest of GHS, unbelievable then almost at the same time I discovered I had ich.
Long story short, tank went through a cycle of fluconazole and fallow at the same time. GHA was gone in about a week.
Since all that happened the tank isn;t looking very well. I started to see some other stuff showing up. I have lots of red areas in my sandbed and growing over some rocks and coral plugs. Also this green algae-like stuff covering one specific rock for a while but I just started to see a new spot in a different one. It is actually quite a pretty green but I am starting to believe is not very friendly.
I am confused as of what could it be and how to get my sandbed back on track.

I have siphoned it out but it comes right back.

(Forgive the dirty glass)

Looks like cyano to me. What are your phosphates and nitrates at?

If it is cyano then chemiclean will get rid of it.
