E-Macro 400 adverse effects to corals

Has anyone experienced adverse effects/reactions from corals when using this? Specifically the purple version.

Has anyone ever tried using driftwood in there aqua scaping? I want to try this I don't have corals but I do have many fish I was wondering if this would hinder or help bio process I also have been trying to grow macros in there as well
