Working on my aqua scape and have found I’ve used up the liquid that comes with the mortar, but have so much more of the powder left. The site instructions say to mix this with “a liquid” and doesn’t specify the polymer liquid that comes with the kit. Does this mean it could just be mixed with water and be as effective? Buying extra of just the polymer liquid doesn’t seem to be an option.

My understanding is that you were supposed to mix the polymer liquid with about 12oz of water so you end up with about a pint.
That said I’m not sure if you can use just water. I would make a small batch and let it cure for 24 hours to see if it works.

That...makes more sense. Instructions seem to be limited with this product. Thanks for the input! WIll do some testing with the excess powder I have left from this batch. I have another bucket of it coming.

I did and it appeared to work just fine, but when the second bucket showed up I reinforced those pieces with that mortar mix just to be safe. Some photos and video attached of how the scape turned out in case anyone is interested.
