I have a decent little sized colony of eagle eye zoas. I had an issue with my tank and several of my corals closed up but that issue has now been resolved. My zoas were closed for days and finally opened back up but are now green. Another kind I have has also had a difference on color but not by much. Anyone know what the problem is or how to fix it if I can? All my params are normal. Trates are around 15 but they have always been like that and everything else seems fine.

They will turn back to their original colors advantually. Nothing to worry about just give it sometime.

They purged their zooxanthellae when your tank went into a funk, nothing to worry about. They should regain it in time if the tank conditions permit and not go any more south.

WOW! I bet you those would break the bank fo' sur'

No, they'll turn back to normal soon. I've seen it happen several times. The only perminent morphing I've seen of these is that the blue center can become a neon green spot. That's the result of intense lighting over time.

Looks like the color is already starting to come back

These color morphs are really cool looking!!! Now I need to go try this out.. Thanks guys, turnin a hardcore SPS keeper into a Z/P guy with a few nice color morph shots lol!

It is kind of cool. Unfortunately I think z/p aren't really that great until you have a small colony of sorts.
