I've always kept clams, anemones, and sps corals, and I want to start with some sps in the newly cycled biocube. I've heard birds nest are on the easier side, but I wanted to hear from you all. Not really looking for the quickest grower. Just something that is easier to keep.

Any of the Monti caps are easy and fast growers. birds nest , also the green slimmer is an easy fast grower for me. The key to successful SPS is consistent and stable parameters ( ALK, CA and Mg)

Thanks. I'm going to attempt some monti. I'm trying to make this tank primarily sps.

Most ORA pieces or any long time aqua-cultured pieces are relatively easy to care for. Some of my favorites would be the ORA red planet, ORA pearl berry, green slimmer and Pro Corals rainbow acro. Most montiporas are very forgiving as well.

ORA Purple Stylophora is my most hardy SPS. Other stylos tend to be fairly hardy. Montis can be fairly hardy, the digitata if you like "sticks", or try some encrusting ones too.
