Easiest method to pull fish from tank?

I reaaaally want to remove some damsels from my tank. What is the best way to remove them? I know those suckers are fast so although chasing them in my reef tank with a net would be a great comedic performance, it's not my best work. I've seen this little magnetic cup that you can pull and it'll float to the top, would that be ideal?

Fish traps can work good, yes. I think patience (lots of it) is key. So why the eviction? Too many ***'s in the tank?
