Hey everyone,
I have always liked the idea of breeding clowns because it is like the babies are your own :). I was wondering what is something you can breed easily in a net breeder hung on the side of a tank (I do not have the money to set up another tank) Something other than snails or pods because I have plenty of thoughs. I was thinking of some kind of crab or an invert in general. How would I raise the babies?
Thanks for any suggestions

Bangaii Cardinals are an easy one since the babies will eat baby brine shrimp, clowns are a lot of work in my experience.

I was think of something that I could house in a small net bredder and not have to have a whole tank. It doesn't have to be a fish :)

You can just wait until the mail releases the babies and collect them in the breeder net. They arn't difficult to care for and raise. Some people have success with it without them interfering at all.

That is a good idea

Is there anything that is easy to breed that is not a fish? :)

Not that I'm aware of. I believe some people breed peppermint shrimp (maybe it's cleaner shrimp?) easily enough, though I'm not sure how.

Aiptasia? Bristle worms? Micro-brittle stars? Asterina?

I've seen some baby (magnifying glass required - sometimes I must look like Sherlock Holmes...) snails on my glass...

You can do dottybacks or as said earlier bengaiis

Peppermint shrimp are easy to breed but raising the larvae are the issue

You have to have a small 5 gallon or less tank but dwarf seahorses are pretty easy to raise supposedly. I'm working on that right now.

I thought about that but I decided not to
Those guys are cute though :)
