easiest way to rinse sand

I have a couple 5 gal buckets of old sand in my garage that I want to rinse in preparation for a build. Last time I did it, I just stuck a hose in and let it run....and run. Does anyone know of an easier/more water efficient way?

Except I only put about 4 inches of sand in the bucket with the hose and blew it around good.

imagine if we could get pre rinsed sand in the hobby

a kind that says no rinsing required on the label, and then its actually like that inside

instead of just having made up words on the label, you could actually swirl some test sand in a glass cup and it would grain out like a snowglobe, not a mud storm. maybe in 2025 someone will invent that kind of sand
