I wanted to give a thanks to @d2mini for an awesome tip I seen him give about catching an unwanted fish.

I had a fish I no longer wanted and tried to catch it for at least an hour with no luck. I remembered reading a tip from Dennis about shining a bright light at the fish after the lights have been off for a few hours.

I went and got the brightest flash light I had, waited until the lights were off for a few hours, found where the fish was sleeping and just shined the light on it. The fish seems to go into a sort of daze as you can basically just reach and grab the fish. I used a net but the fish didn’t even try to swim away.

I will never fuss with trying to catch a fish with a net again!

Told ya so. :D

And I just turn all my tank lights on full blast. Makes it easier to find them hiding in the rock work.

This does work well. My 2 million candle light spotlight is overkill but works well on 50% power.

For removing several fish I do it the hard way and remove everything... which isn’t fun.

Fish traps can work well with trap doors and fishing line tied to said door. Just feed the fish in the open box for a few days and get them accustomed to eating frozen food out of it (use turkey baster to squirt it in the box)

I’ll try this method with my Valentini Puffer I have to re-home...
