Does any body actually set their light schedule forward and back with time changes? I usually "spring forward" and "fall back" but I am leaving it alone this time around. Just wanting to know if anybody else has thought about this.

I used to change mine to compensate for daylight savings time, but I haven't in the last two years. When it comes to the lighting schedule, I would just do what works for you to view the tank best.

Yea, that's what I was thinking. The time change thing I heard once was going to be done away with. But didn't know what to believe when I first heard it. Thanks for the input. It's always been something I've wondered about for in the wild though.

Fish can't tell time.. And it doesn't really shorten or lengthen your light.. Just changes what time it comes on for your viewing. But I do lengthen daylight hours in summer and shorten them in the winter to mimic the sun as much as possible, never meet with the hour for daylight savings though
