I will be starting a new system in a few months. I would like to start out with AF from the beginning. I know this is an old post, but I see the starter pack is still available.

Can you guide me to a detailed set of instructions on cycling a tank and future coral maintenance using Aquaforest? Everything I find is kind of vague. I need step by step instructions.

My tank was setup lps and softies and I used the supplements and salt specified by AF. The guide that was mention in this string is a good plan to follow. AF working well so far.

I am on day 4 using BioS. I started using Life Bio Fil 3 days ago.
Water volume after calculating rock and sand is 65 gallons.
I use 3 drops a day of BioS.

When should I start using Phosphate Minus?
Can I supplement NitraPhos Minus for Phosphate Minus? (I have already purchased the NitraPhos Minus)

• in order to accelerate maturation process, you can put a cube of frozen food in the water

Can I put in a cube of frozen food now?

Thank you,

Hello,
You can use Phosphate Minus from day one.
And yes you can put cube of frozen food as nourishment for nitrifying process.

Best regards,
Aquaforest
