"Easy beginner" fish that you never had luck with?

I NEVER had luck with Blenny, Green Chromis and Firefish. I've had at least 3 of each over the years and none of them ever made it past 6 months. They all had the same symptom: getting scrawny then died slowly. It's weird because they are supposed to be beginner fish.

Meanwhile my Hippo Tang is doing really well and she never got ick. And my BS Leopard Wrasse is 3 years old now.

It can really depend on the size of the tank. I was never able to keep a lawnmower blenny for more than 3-6 months on my smaller tanks, but the latest one seems to be thriving in my larger system. Fingers crossed.

It’s not a saltwater fish but bettas I could never keep. They all died within a few weeks/months.
