Anyone have a suggestion for keeping the glass clean between the sand and the front of the aquarium. I hate when its dark or growing algae. Always afraid I will scratch the glass when trying to keep it clean.

Are you taking about under the sandbed ?
If so you really can’t do anything about w/o disturbing the sand bed

Tunze magnets are pretty good at preventing scratches but nothing is 100% guarantee

No, I'm talking about between the glass and sand bed along the front of the aquarium.

Sounds like you could use a scraper like the one from Kent or razor blade, just be sure t scrape in one direction, down.

I reccomend a credit card. low risk of scratching if you can go down in one motion but pull it off the glass allowing sand to fall out from between the card and the glass.

This is the magnet cleaner I use, and it is great. The blade side will scrape right down the sand edge, and pushes a little sand out of the way. Then you flip it back over to the scrubber side, and anything still stuck on the blade falls right off.
Thanks
