a frag from Barts house im not sure what kind as i got mixed answers and i dont remember what Lindsey said it was but its a huge cup looking thing. i am curious myself to know exactly what it is i just know it looked awsome lol. if u look at barts FTS pic from the post Chrs made after the meeting its in bottom right side. https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/middle-tennessee-reef-club/67706-august-mtg-barts.html

Looks like an unhappy Toadstool that is not opening up. But that is common in that coral at times to shed it's skin and close up for a period of time.

no, it snot a leather. it is a hard skeleton.

Then it can be a cup coral. Bill that's what I thought but polyps are to big. And I didn't think it was a cup coral at 1st because on the footing. Or a cool lps. Lindsey you have a colony pic. Maybe we can id this guy for you.

I have Tubinaria and it does not look anything like that, It has lots of polyps and a thin growth pattern. I think that is wrong but do not have a clue as ti it's ID

It is Tubinaria...it came off the piece on the bottom right of Bart's Tank

yea, I think turbinaria. that is a maybe 1" piece if I remember.

Yea its the small cup on the bottom left of that coral so its about 3/4-1". Thx for the ID
