So today i was doing a daily feeding on all my lps, and a prawn got stuck on on my X-men zoa. It then closed up for about a minute then opened and the prawn was gone, so i assume it ate it. So my question is dow zoa/paly's eat prawn? i never knew they did

If it'll fit in their mouth and they're hungry, they'll eat it.

If they don't like it, you'll see it coming out later.

There's some zoas in our tank that'll gladly eat any fish food pellets that land on them.

Zoanthus Giganthus, Protopalythoa, Grandis and Palythoas exibit prey catching capablility and if food fits they can try to eat it but will expel and release the prey if it can't fit it in its mouth.
