EB8 setup. Pulling my hair out

So. I connected a small nightstand light up to the #1 outlet on my EB8

I have tried naming it skimmer etc, and tried everything I can think of to find a way to program my EB8 so I can control things (like my skimmer) through the EB8, but I can’t figure out how to make the EV8 power ANYTHING. What am I doing wrong? I’ve tried watching various videos, and tried everything in the setup pdf from Neptune. I have no idea how to program for a simple “on/off” function for the outlets...... Not to mention timed on/off periods for ATS etc!

Any idea what probably obvious little detail I’m missing?

My EB8 is basically powering my ATO and display and none of the regular outlets do anything!

Do you have a green light on the EB8? How are accessing your apex - the local dashboard or via fusion? Do you see the eight outlets? What happens to outlet #1 when you manually move the dashboard slider to ON?

I do all my outlet programming via the advanced tab rather then using the wizards, but you’d want something like this for ON/OFF ....

FALLBACK OFF
SET OFF
If TIME 08:00 to 20:00 THEN ON

This will turn the outlet on starting at 8 am and off at 8 pm.

I'm using a MacBook and just use the built-in screen capture feature by pressing Command-4. On Windows I believe you can use Alt-Prnt. This saves the image to your local computer, then insert the image file in the forum post.

Pretty easy, we are just taking screenshots of the fusion page and then uploading the photo here to R2R. I tend to upload the photo to Imgur and then link the photo here.

Classic I believe. I lost my ATK during my trouble-shooting. Now I need to figure out how to add that device again. This is a nightmare

I see my sensors listed as open or closed. I don’t see the ATO On/Off/Auto selection anymore. and the ATO doesn’t turn on. I tried the fusion wizard and it won’t let me get past selecting the sensor inputs. just doesn’t go any further.

This whole system is way too complicated for me. Is there a link I can go online and have their support just set/configure it? If not, “For Sale”

I think the EB8 may be damaged, or require an update. To my knowledge it should not JUST be showing amperage on that screen.

Yes, you can submit an ticket with Neptune Systems and they can help set it up for you. They have excellent screen share software, and are more than happy to guide you through the process.

This is what all my screens look like now. Of course I just connected the WXM so I have no idea what to do with it

I have the same thing, a WXM module and no Vortechs any more (using the module to connect a DOS accessory). Touch and release the the little lock icon and then touch and hold the tiles you are not using like the missing Vortechs and move them up to the top, where there is a field of non-used tiles. That will clean up your dashboard. Mine looks like this:

I opened a ticket with Neptune. Haven’t heard back...... For right now, can someone look at those screen shots and tell me why my display beeps every 30-60 seconds for the last 20+ hours. Driving me nuts. I may just disconnect the display

Have you tried turning off the SNDWRN_I7 slider?
