My eb8 won't turn off one outlet even when switched to off. It says off in fusion but it's still on.

It's set to fall back off and is set by probe control to come on and of.

Why might this outlet stay on? It used to work fine.

The outlet could have shorted out and is stuck on. You can send it to neptune to get it repaired.

Yeah but that sucks. Guess I have to buy another one so I can send mine in. Wounded if it is self repairable.

What do you have plugged into that outlet?

I have had to wipe my config and reboot and reset once before when I had that issue

What do you have plugged into that outlet? I have experienced this before that my koralia nano was plugged into one of the outlets that even when turned off it is still powering the nano. I thought it was defective so I moved the nano pump to a different outlet and the result was the same. It shows that the outlet has been shut off but still was able to power the nano pump. I don't know why but I guess even if the outlets are turned off they may still be passing a low voltage that was able to turn the nano pump on.

You can try wiping the config first before you send it in. I would do a backup of the configuration so if it doesn't work your settings can easily be imported back.

Small pumps put out a back EMF pulse of several hundred volts when they loose power. The larger pumps also have a back EMF pulse they just don't have near the voltage output. This can cause all kinds of troubles. The most common is that an outlet powered by triac appears to not turn off. It does turn off but the pulse causes the triac to turn back on. This on and off happens so rapidly that the output appears to be on constantly. If the small pump is in an outlet controlled by a relay it may still cause outlets controlled by triac's to turn on momentarily. I would add a surgeprotector or a small non inductive load to the output with the offending pump. The Koralia's are notorious for doing this.

you could have too little power on that outlet...for instance, a dosing pump/nano powerhead will not turn off on outlets 1-3 and 5-7

if that is not the case then something internally is wrong
