Ebay Seller Using MY Pic!

Posted on RC:

She seems like a sweet young girl, here is her response to my question about morphing.
"hey im hunting reject rednecks want to suck my c**k and ride the school bus with a giant set of testicles?
write me again you f**king tweaker and ill set my husband into hunt mode for your *ss!!!!"

Where is this found on Rc? Gotta link

She is a true sweetheart! I doubt that picture of her is the real her. Has anybody here thought about contacting any of the previous people who have purchased from her and try to get her real name and address?

HER ZOAS DON"T DIE!

I asked her about an arrive alive policy. Apparently for $10 extra in shipping on this auction she will let me get them replaced at my own additional shipping expense if they die.. Guess she would do nothing if I didn't pay the extra $10.. of course the auction does say "LIVE" so you could probably dispute it. Suppose I'd have to pay the extra $10 on that too. 2 day shipping hum.

"[FONT=arial,sans-serif]where do you live??
they DONT DIE DURING SHIPPING
if they do you have to take a picture within 1 hour of recieving them dead and send it to me
if you win you will be provided with my phone number so you can call me when they arrive.
I HAVENT HAD A LOSS YET SO I KNOW THEY DONT DIE
PURCHASE INSURANCE FOR LIVE GUARANTEE AND IF THEY DIE DURING SHIPPING THEN I WILL REPLACE THEM.
OFCOURSE YOU WOULD PAY THE SHIPPING
MY ZOAS DONT DIE"

-Also asked for pics of actual frags./. she asked for my email I haven't seen any pics yet.

hey itis a gut buy the way i delt with him i was winning them before it was put off hes not write if you like i have his phone number

Hmmm, I'd been "Watching" the auction and when I tried to find it, it was gone.

If you go to her feedback & trace her past auctions, I bet folks will find many of their pics used to sell her corals. I know those can't be her pics!

She claims the picture is hers in her ad so it would be really proving a point if you find she stole the picture.

Here's the response I got from Ebay, after reporting her. I reported her several days ago and just got this email from ebay.

Dear Michael,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us with this information. I
understand how this situation could be of some concern.

I have reviewed the information that you provided regarding the use of
images, but at this point find that I do not have enough evidence to
show that the member has violated any eBay rules.

Regrettably, we will only be able to take action if the owner of the
images or text writes to us. In some instances, sellers may have
obtained permission to use the material. Therefore, we often cannot
remove listings based on the representations of third parties whose
credentials we cannot verify.

We do understand the potential for further issues in this type of
situation. That is why, if you feel strongly about this issue, we
recommend that you contact the owner of the images or text, and
recommend that they contact us directly. Once we hear from them, we will
take appropriate action.

We appreciate you taking the time to contact us with your concerns.
Thank you participating in the eBay community.

If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reply to this
email and let us know.

Sincerely,
Keri E.

That's the exact same email I got from them too. I guess they really don't have the resources to follow up. I've emailed that eBay chick a few times. She doesn't have the b a l l s to respond to me. Her insurance is insane.

I can see Ebay's point. They don't know whether permission was asked and received. The owner of the pics will have to be the complaining person. Although, it seems like the OP, as the owner of a pic that was used, has complained.
