Ebay T5 Fixture

Hi all,

Is that time to upgrade my current 4 bulb light fixture.

Thing is I (not really, the wife) really don't want to break the bank and would like to keep it under $200.

I have a 75 gallon, Fish, LPS and Softies.

Has anybody used this fixture before? I will be swapping the stock lamps with ATI bulbs for sure.

Are there any LED fixtures out there worth looking into at that price range?

Being that your lights are 1 of the most important purchases you will make for your tank. I would invest wisely!! Do not skimp!
Personally I would save your money and get a decent, well known unit. One that comes with a warranty. I would not get the above unit.

I agree, my current setup is a retrofit that I did to my hood from an old Odyssea 4 bulb fixture. It has been doing well in terms of growth and color. I just wanted a couple of extra bulbs.

4 decent T5 bulbs by themselves are $100. So that leaves $100 for the fixture with your budget. I would wait until you have more money. You could upgrade the existing fixture again with ATI reflectors and bulbs. 4 new reflectors and 4 new bulbs would be right at your $200 budget.

You don't need more then 4 54 watt bulbs for that tank.
