Is I️t normal for an echinata coral to have tentacles like this. At first I️ thought I️t was algae and tried to pull I️t off. But I️ felt I️t tug back! They have doubled in size in one month. And there looks to be some in my sand near by. Now I’m all confused. Thank you.

That looks like algae that's suffocating the echinata
