The LED unit is up!!


I have decided to keep the ATI PM hanging up for the time being but officially 'A Reef in the Sky' is illuminated by LEDs!!


You can see how much thinner the unit is compared to the ATI PM 8x80W.

What I am excited about is that I will not have to drill news holes in the ceiling to support this unit as the hanging dimensions/width is the same. It also uses the hanging wire which fits perfectly into the eco lamp unit.

I will be raising the KR93SP unit higher soon. For the mean time it will be at the height you see it.

A day time setting. The unit looks modern and stylish IMO

Coral colour look great when viewed from the top.

With all pumps turned off to get some pictures of corals and the LED reflections. What I love is that there is so much more room to view the corals from above.

Those look nice! I'm kind of surprised you made the switch to LED though.
