I am using the 1267 as my return and the 396 as a reactor feed pump and have been happy with both, I believe Mike is also using one as a return pump.

Which one you use? I have the 1580 but is a little loud

There are multiple options out there. Various rubber mats, mouse pads etc. That you can use to help with the vibration noise.
