I am currently trying to connect my gen 3 radions to eco smart live but with no luck.

Ive downloaded the connection manager and that is working. Im starting up a new profile and new tank and the programme cannot find the radion. The screen then asks to add the radion light manually via usb which I do. the light is then found and then updates. The light is apprently then reset and then nothing else happens after this.

I have followed the advice that comes up in the yellow box in the right hand top corner again with no luck.

I am using google chrome to do this and nothing seems to be working. I have tried resetting the radion and reinstaloling the connection manager numerous times - again with no luck.

Any advice?

Sometimes when it doesn't seem like it's working for me, I've re-downloaded the connection manager. Sometimes that helps.
Make sure you aren't offline when trying to make changes.

There use to be a guy around here that was pretty helpful with Ecotech stuff. Rondo something was his name.

Still no luck again after trying for about three hours tonight. The light cannot be found when searching wirelessly so I choose to ad via a USB. The light is found and then updated and reset but will go no further than this point at all. I've updated and reset probably close to ten times now all with the same outcome.

I remember you can't be connected to other networks or something like that at the same time. Not sure how computer network literate you are... Hope that helps

Thanks @mfinn

You won't be able to add anything wirelessly unless you had the ReefLink, so don't worry about that option.

To be sure, are you logged into ESL and adding the lights from the Device Manager screen?

Now, if you were able to connect, update and reset the Radion, it should show up on the left side of the Device Manager screen. Does it not show?

If it does, you would be able to add device to the aquarium profile on the right side of the Device Manager screen. (There is a "+" symbol that says add device here.)

Let's see if any of this sounds right, so far.

Now that Monday morning is here, you can always call EcoTech customer service and they are more than happy to walk you through the entire process. (Sometimes it's just nice to have someone right there to help fix the issue!) [emoji4]
