Does anyone know if the 3 child options ( sync, anti sync, and eco), are able to be changed from mode to mode?
Example: Master set for 8 hours lagoon, and 8 hours pulse. Can I have the 2 child Vortechs change from anti sync to sync, or am I stuck with 1 sync mode throughout the day? I want my child to be in eco for the eco modes, and anti sync for the pulse modes.

You can program the slaves in whatever way you wish.

Your use of the term ‘child’ is odd to me. I’ve programmed all my vortechs through WXM with some as the ‘master’ and others as the ‘slaves’. Unfortunate terminology aside, are you trying to do this on mobius? If so, cannot help as I don’t use it.

Yes I know. I don’t think you get my question.
sync, and anti sync for example, on child number one. I want sync at 9 am, then anti sync at 1. Then eco at 4. Can you do this?
Remember, it’s a child, not independent
Through Mobius you can, can even switch between parent/child if I am not mistaken as for WXM I dunno my time with it was short lived since me and Mobius got along pretty well.

Child and slave are the same thing. I am using Mobius.

I don’t see how you can do it. A slave has all modes grayed on the edit page. Only one a sync option can be chosen. I don’t see any way you can change it from one mode to the next.

This terminology is the PC version I gather now.
Oh brother.

I’m going to assume the answer is no. No replies addressing my actual question
Sorry I missed this before. Took me a min to figure out as well but basically you have to replicate the schedule of the parent and when you choose mode that’s where you switch to child and select which mode you want

Let me re state the question. Can a child be programmed to switch automatically from sync to anti sync when the master changes from lets say lagoon to pulse for example?

AH I see what you mean no there is no automatic you just have to add another time in the child to match that of parent and change it there. You cant just setup 1 schedule for full day and have it automatically pick the correct mode you have to individually recreate schedule and choose what you want it to do.

Definitely can be done in Mobius. Just go to the child pump and drop a second child mode then set the time and mode. Also can adjust the max speed.
Yes that is what I mentioned his question is if it can be automatically detected between the flow modes and switched automatically not manually set.

The three modes in Mobius for child are Sync, AntiSync and Eco BACK. Sync and Anti Sync will do the Eco function in an Eco mode automatically. Back does the Eco mode... then I think it runs constant during non-eco modes.

My day schedule as an example:
Parent:
8 am - 10 am Tidal Swell (Eco Mode)
10 am - 1 pm Reef Crest
1 pm - 3 pm Nutrient Transport (Eco Mode)
3pm - 6 pm Reef Crest
6 pm - 8 pm Tidal Swell (Eco Mode)

Child:
8 am - 8 pm Anti-Sync

The child antisync's for the reefcrest, then it does the Eco "opposite" for the Eco modes automatically.

You can simply recreate the schedule in the child and choose the correct mode as I do not believe that you having anti-sync it will auto switch to eco mode at all.
