Eco Tec. M1 pump malfunction

All of a sudden my M1 pump after being shut down during water changes when turned back on wil run for maybe 5 seconds shut Down for about 5 then keeps repeating that cycle until it finally stays on. Any ideas what's going on here? Pump is just a year and a half old.

First thing I would do is take it apart and clean out the impeller and inside of the pump. Make sure nothing is impeding the impeller.
Then put it back together and try it.
If it still happens I'd get on the phone to Ecotech.

I had the exact same thing happen. I could ramp it up but once it hit about 80% it would shut down and cycle again.

Ecotech replaced it.

While waiting for the new one I backed it down a little.

Yea I did that no help I come home today and it's just sitting there. Doing nothing The dile is blinking green. Any ideas?
