So my mp 10's dry side went bad after only 16 months. I sent it in only to have to pay $93 (w/shipping) to get it fixed.... So as of today I have spent approx $320 on a pump that may or may not last another 16 months. Also, they charged my credit card before getting my final permission on the amount once they found out what was wrong with it... real professional:( I emailed them to ask about the charges and express my polite displeasure only to go unanswered....

In my opinion I would have expected a pump that costs over $200 to last at least 3 years before any real issues and would have hoped the company would have backed it up since it was only 4 months(at most) past warranty, but I guess I was expecting too much.

It is a great pump when it's running, but how long will it run before the wet side or dry side needs to be replaced again....

There is more info that I can add about this experience but this pretty much sums it up.

My mistake, sorry. Is there a forum for this kind of thing or should I just delete it? Just thought folks thinking about buying this item would like to know what happens when its a few months past warranty. FYI, I emailed them again to let them know they didn't send the rubber spacer back with my pump and still have not heard back(3+ business days), so my pump is still out of commission.

Your post is fine. Loki is referring to others comments which have since been removed. You can post feedback and ecotech can respond if they choose but outside comments aren't allowed.
