Keep in mind, its a w/b configuration....so your color might be off if you will compared to a full spectrum led. Otherwise my old.store used ecoray exclusively and they grew coral fine, Jst color is off

Being new to LED's, why would they do that ? Don't they have normal full spectrum ?
The video I watched were all white bulbs.
I did like that you could replace any of the mother boards. I'm starting up a new 75g mixed reef and researching the company's out there, and it's frying my mind. lol
Ecotech is too expensive. One I'm liking is Lumentex, I spoke to the owner & like him, looks like a great system and he's low on price.
Maxspect Razor is another.
So, I'll ask you this. What makes any manufactures better than another ?
It looks to me that most use the same bulbs and it's just the housing that are different ?
Kind of like clothes washers, there's say 5 manufactures and everyone else in the world puts their name on them as a different product.

To some point, LED's are still in their infancy in reefing....that's why there are so many options and so many ideas on the subject...I would also look at Apollo reef lights...the people there are awesome to talk to as well. Just my 2cents though

Too answer what your asking is very vast and will end in multiple answers. I was not saying they were bad it inferior to any other brand, just for my money and leds I'd go DIY, or radion. That's my 2cents. Also in regard to ecoray, I've worked at a retail store that sold those leds exclusively. We had an issue with a unit and it took ecoray( out of Ca. ) over 3 months to deal with the issue and resulted in the customer sadly having to bring some of his corals in seeing as his tank didn't have a light for over 3 months. All the whole while the communication was slim to none. So that was generally a horrible customer service experience and for me that's enough to be a bad company in this large world of led markets

I have a set of the 112D and a set of the 60D. I have had to send them back repeatedly for repairs. I am currently having the same issue again now. They lose a bank of the white or blue. It takes a week plus to get it back, when sent for repairs, even if I send it to them next day air. I'm out of warranty now, and it costs $49 to fix them. I would not recommend them, and I'm currently looking for replacement lights.
