Okay so I just downloaded a ghost war live and uploaded my first program to my Radeon going to see how it does I opted for a 10 hour cycle with an acclamation. Maxing out of 60% intensity using the radiant color option that was available in the preloads, so far I haven't had much success with these lives partly due to lack of husbandry but have been picking up my work with the tank all my parameters are narrowing and leveling back to where they're supposed to be so I'm getting this light one more try before I decide to sell it and go to t5 again so if anybody has any helpful tense import data anything that might be of use I have my tank specs on the forum if you have any questions as far as that's concerned so with that being said let's see what everybody has

I just picked up the new ReefLink they have. I like it! I am no good at computers so I like the presets. the app on my phone coo also. I never really use Live until I got the reeflink. I had it but never could get it to work right (lack of computer knowledge)

Now I enjoy it!

I had months of problems trying to figure out how to use the lights without having seen the videos ecosmart did I was going in blind but I figured it out about a month ago and seen that live was an option and I am happy with the site itself I just want more corals to like the light. I have seen hundreds of successful tanks using radions just have not found the sweet spot for my own tank yet and I don't want to put more corals in obviously, but need to get this right so I don't keep starring at FO tank

What is ghost war live (COD)? If making major changes to the lighting pattern I think it is always a good idea to use the acclimation process.

ESL has come a long way in a relatively short time IMO, it has been very stable for me. Like MatteZ, I agree that ReefLink enhances the ESL experience and I use ESL more often since I don't have to hook up a USB cable. I don't change the lighting schedule that often, but it will be nice to be able to program different schedules for the Ecotech powerheads in the near future.

Which corals are you trying to grow?

That COD ref was a voice to text typo.

I reqlly do love the light, the only corqls I have right now I got 2 weeks ago after 1 half years waiting for tank to mature and money clear up. Anyway, I have
1 frag of Paly
2 Zoa frags
1 small frag gsp
1 frag war coral
1 frag favia.
The LPS stuff is doing fine but the P&Z are just not responding from day 2 in the tank. I had an ammonia spike which is back down now but slowly raisng a PH fall to 7.2 over the last week I have got it back up to 7.9 to 8.1 after checking last night so hoping those will have some positive feedback from the corals.

Also, got a bottle of polyp labs polyp booster coming in the mail I have seen great stuff from this product, anyone else use it with the reef roids?

Reeflink would be the best option for sure only problem is I am an android user and from the skimming have done its only for apple devices that you can use the app with.

I love my Radions, these are my third set of lights.
Gen1 and than Gen2, now the Pro's since May the reeflink for the last 4 months.
It took about 5 months that I had finally some growth out my SPS but now most of my older frags turned into colonies and new frags starting to come along too.

Ph is 7.9 - 8.1
Ntrate 0.00
Nrite 0.00
Ammonia 1.0

Don't have calcium or alk test available currently. Though I dose twice a week with A and B Brightwell Aquatics calcium

Well first off if you are testing ph that could be a problem. You need to be testing dkh not ph. You ph can be 7.6 and your dkh be just fine. But trying to raise ph up over 8 can raise dkh up a lot. I did this is the past and didn't catch it till my dkh was 16. Lost several corals slowly.

Your dkh should be 7-12, Calcium 380-450, and magnesium 1350-1500. Along with salinity 1.024-1.026. Dosing with out test kits is just asking for trouble. I would purchase these before anymore coral

Bulk reef supply sells a red sea pro test kit that has all 3 in it for like $50 and I really like these test kits.

Well I do have a KH test that I just did but I don't know how to convert it. Its telling me the KH is between 180 and 240ppm is that hi or low? Salinity is at 1.025 and will have to get a test kit this weekend for those. Thanks

I found a conversion chart my KH of 190ppm converts to 10.5 to 11 DKH

I almost really want to go all digital with all of my tests. Just trying to work what kind of money I have right now

Consistency is the goal what works for one may not another. Pick a number and try and keep it stable at that.

Makes sense, maybe I am just one of those guys who can't keep Z&P. Or at least untill I understand them and what they need more. Just more research:-), good thing I love this hobby cause I don't like chasing my tail but I have been doing that with these lights and Z&P. But after finding and finally using ESL I Hipe my light problems are done.
