EcoSmart Live - MP40s

I purchased two MP40s (and also have the Vectra S2 for my return pump) for my new Waterbox 100.3 - just came last week!
Was looking to sync and manage my MP40s online using the EcoSmart Live website/app that I have seen may others post screens shots of the mode and % flow they are using.

However, after I setup my EcoSmart Live account, I am not able to add devices or click on the VorTech or Vectra tabs.
Am I missing something? Do I need a ReefLink in order to use EcoSmart Live?

Appreciate any input - site seems a little old/out of date. Not sure if the site is just down - or if I am missing something to get it properly setup.

Hello,

Yes, you need a ReefLink in order to access your MP40 through Ecosmart Live. But in MP40 are new they will be compatible with the Mobius app once Ecotech release the update. You will be able to control and program your MP40 using the app without the need of the ReefLink.

Is a matter of waiting for Mobius update, or buying the ReefLink now.

Mobius update should happen in the next few months of weeks, at this point we dont know.

Congrats on the new system!! I have almost the exact setup as you - only difference is i have Vectra M2. I ran into same issue - unfortunately, yes, you need a ReefLink (for now) to access controls to pumps via internet. In the future, the Mobius app will replace the reeflink.

I know it's not what you wanted to hear, but, it is what is...

I have both the Reef link for my MP40's and Radion Gen5 Blue Led's that are controlled by Mobius. I prefer the ReefLink over Mobius. In my opinion computer software is better than using a cell phone. But I'm not sure how much longer the ReefLink will be supported.

Is it worth it to get the ReefLink in your opinion? Or is that being retired in the near future?
