Maybe this should go in the EcoTech forum but I figured would get more traffic here.

I don't know if this is normal but for the past six months or so, ESL is offline for me like 80% of the time. I'll log in and it's like sharpshooting in order to try and set a new program. Even with the blue ring on the RL I still can't connect most of the time, and sometimes the RL has the 'ESL offline' light scheme as well (half green, 1/3 yellow, 1/6 red) I updated my Reeflink last week and it didn't seem to help. I also have some GHL equipment on the same network and it never disconnects (but it uses a static IP). I have restarted my RL and router like twenty times and sometimes it helps but usually not.

Any ideas or is ESL actually down that often? :confused:
 
I haven't had any issues.... but then again.. I don't use it all too often. That said, it sounds like there is an issue with your wifi and RL.... If you just updated the reeflink.... perhaps there is an issue. Given them a call. I had an issue about a year ago and the promptly helped me out. The good news is... if the RL goes off line and you cannot connect to your lights and pumps... I think they stay with the last programming....but might be worthwhile to check with EcoTech.
