I shut-down my system and have two EcoTech battery back-up shells and cables available = everything minus the battery. The batteries were dead so I removed them by drilling out the rivets. I re-sealed the shells with SS machine screws so you can re-use the system over and over by replacing the battery (EXP12180 or equivalent). Hence, you will get one shell, the standard EcoTech charger and cables including fuse to connect to the Vortech. Price is $30 each shipped to the Midwest, Southeast, Northeast, and TX. I'll take $50 for both to the same geographies.

Funny I just had mine open to replace the battery. I upgraded to a 35ah from the 18ah it came with.

Now that's interesting have others been doing this also?
I never heard of it. But like the OP said drill out the rivets and open the case it's just a 12v 18amp hour battery. Theres a 12v 35Ah batter that's the same size and 75$ so itll last double the time when you loose power.
