Ecotech battery backup for Gyres

Has anyone tried to use Ecotech backup battery as backup for Gyres? I have a few and was wondering if they could work with a plug adapter.

Should work without any problems as long as the adapters are changed out and the voltage of the battery matches the demand of the Gyres.

I actually had a battery in my EcoTech backup die and I had to replace it...was a much cheaper option than purchasing a EcoTech backup...so you could change the battery out, as needed as well, to match the Gyre demands and still use the backup housing.
